Henry William Thomas, age 66 of Oberlin, OH, departed this life on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, OH.

He was born on August 23, 1943 in Harlan KY, the son of Henry and Josephine Teshion Thomas. He was an assembly line worker for Ford Motor Company and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Beverly Randolph Thomas; four sons, Dennis Thomas of Kentucky, Henry Thomas Jr. of Oberlin, OH, Stanley Thomas of Oberlin, OH, and Leroy Thomas of Elyria, OH; two daughters, Josie (and Ben) Partin of Oberlin, OH and Alta Thomas of Science Hill, KY; a brother, Harold (and Shirley) Galloway of Jabez, KY; two sisters, Sophia Alice (and Tom) West of Nancy, KY and Lula Ann (and Jack) Ricket of Dayton, OH; twenty-five grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry and Josephine Thomas and a daughter, Bonnie Lane.

Visitation for Mr. Thomas will be 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 10^th at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 11^th at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Science Hill, KY.
